I imagine a lot of you know this stuff already but I found THIS (http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleid=1466&page=1) article about what athlon 64 really does and how it works etc. Since Im new to all this stuff I found it really interesting. Looks like they are gonna change things up a lot.

Interesting read.. passed a few mins time and gained some good info on the 64 bit arichtecture
helpfull, ive been ignoring all the talk about this untill now. so im caught up for the most part.

The P4 EE they tested was unlocked. Does anyone know if this was just because it is an ES chip or will all P4 EE cores be unlocked, as they are aimed at the enthusiast market?

I believe Xeons are unlocked for lower multis, and the EE is just a rebadged Xeon MP, if I understand correctly.
