A friend of mine just got an AMD T-BIRD 1.2 GHz, and I noticed that the Voltage for the CPU was at 1.8V. Now to mee this seems high, and I thought the Voltage for the CPU would of been 1.7 <.
So is it ment to be at 1.8V?

Cheers

my AVIA 1ghz is stock at 1.87 v-core. I lowered it to 1.8 to get lower temps. All is good at that voltage so far.

The default voltage is 1.75. The minimum is 1.65 and the max is 1.85. all this according to AMD.

i just left vcore setting to auto, if the max is 1.85 i'd better go check to see what mine is exactly, i remember that it was 1.8 something

I have 1.2. and my Vcore is 1.70. I have it clocked to 1400 not a problem. But TT120 is right. I think it is ok that your runs a little higher. I heard that the 1.2 have a tendency to run a little higher. So it depends on the batch of chip you get.
