Your problem is that your vivo capture drivers are not installed, otherwise any capturing software should work just fine with it, even movie maker.

Try updating your drivers. Nvidia should have the latest drivers specificaly for tv in/out. I had to install those specific drivers to get my tv-out to work.
You need to install the WDM 1.22 (http://www.nvidia.com/object/wdm_winxp-2k-Me-98se_1.22) for the VIVO features to work. When you run the installer it will ask for a restart almost instantly, follow the prompt then after the restart the VIVO will be recognized & the drivers will be installed one at a time. Allow the procedure to look for the drivers automatically always, you will be prompted that the drivers are not digitaly signed but continue anyway.
ADOBE Premiere 6.0 will recognize the capture device when configured properly. Go to FILE | MOVIE CAPTURE | SETTINGS | EDIT | CAPTURE FORMAT | VIDEO FOR WINDOWS. You can also use VIRTUAL DUB (http://www.virtualdub.org/) which is a free & fast application.
