View Full Version : [SOLVED] axia y
do people come to the forums to pump up things like "axia y core" so the resellers can get rid of them because they're too hot. OR are they actually good?
I don't know what you mean by the "y" core, but the AXIAs are great! I got my 1.2 at 1466 right now. But thats being conservative. Don't wanna blow anything up ya know ;)

How many AXIA "Y" chips have you tested, compares to other batches of AXIA chips (ie: 3rd lines starting with 8, 9, or K), too arrived to the conclusion of "Y" chips running too hot?! Just FYI, we have tested over a thousand AXIA chips so far, and the "Y"s seems to run the coolest. Of course, not all chips are created equal, even within the same tray.

I like my AXIA Y chip. yes it runs a bit warm ....but I'm at 1.417 GHz and stable! It's been 100% load for a week at 1.350 and I up'ed to 1.417 yesterday and still 100 % load with temp is at 44C chassis at 28C. The higher temp could be my MSI MB because of the way it reads the cpu temp.
