I (my parents) have a dell steup thats ok but i built my own and put a TnT-2 in it ($60). But it cannot play AA at all, whilest my Dells Gf2 can perfectly but its cheaper but almost $15 for the best Gf2 Mx400? How can this be? Is it because of different Gpus?
Am i doing something wrong?
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks:rolleyes: :D

The G2 mx400 is a better video card. The TNT2 is probably so old it doesnt even know what AA is.

any GF2 will be better than a TNT-2
GF2 is a DirectX 7 card
TNT-2 is a DirectX 6 and below card
use that TNT-2 as a paper weight
If you look in Old Maximum PC's Mag (forgot what month)
Whent ehy reviewed and previewd Half Life 2, it will show you what cards are better than others
I'll look at what month when I get home

The TNT 2 probably costs more because it's an antique.

Theres a 2 generation difference between the cards. The Gf2 has a lot of new features, as well as more than 2x the memory bandwidth and 33% faster core.
