the chips on the RAM itself say what they are. usually some numbers then bh-5 or ch-5

call the manufacturer.. who made the ram? is it the stuff in your sig?

3200C2, then it is ch-5
3200LL rev1.1, then bh-5
3200LL rev1.2, then ch-5

You state Corsair XMS 3200 in your sig. This is my understanding of the chips used by Corsair for their 3200 if it is labelled as:
3200C2, then it is ch-5
3200LL rev1.1, then bh-5
3200LL rev1.2, then ch-5

if you are able to run 2-5-2-2 with 3200C2 then that is above average for the ch-5 since these chips usually require RAS-to-CAS delay = 3.

merc zeph has it more or less about right.. the revision 1.1 had better chips than these later rev 1.2 ram ;d so love your 1.1 chips hehe
