darn, my memory has a heatspreader on it, any other way to find out?

Hi Mac

how can you tell if you memory chips are bh-5 or ch-5?
You state Corsair XMS 3200 in your sig. This is my understanding of the chips used by Corsair for their 3200 if it is labelled as:
3200C2, then it is ch-5
3200LL rev1.1, then bh-5
3200LL rev1.2, then ch-5
If I am wrong, someone may correct me.

Cheers

i believe mine is 3200c2

and i hear bh-5 is better, but.. dunno much about that.

merc zeph has it more or less about right.. the revision 1.1 had better chips than these later rev 1.2 ram ;d so love your 1.1 chips hehe
