is there a way to change the login back ground for win 2k??? i did it a long time ago i dont remeber how i did it now.

found this, havent tried it but sounds like it will work

This applies to the advanced login where you type in your name in the input box, not the new welcome screen where it lists your name(s).

1. Find registry Key HKEY_USERS\DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop
2. Locate the string labeled "Wallpaper"
3. Type in location of background you want to use.
4. Logoff.
!!YOU MUST USE A BITMAP!!
This has been tested on:
Windows XP Professional Edition
Windows XP Home Edition

hey amazon it worked :D but the wall paper is centered how do i get it to stretch the whole back ground?

If I remember right the BMP needs to be resized to 640X480 to show as full screen.
