when is the next price cut? and by how much will it drop?

for amd: It all comes down to supply and demand. I don't think the cpu's below 1.33 are going to drop down that much.

They are falling as I type. There is supposed to be an official cut by Intel on the 27th..Yes, that's tomorrow. It appears that a lot of any price reduction by AMD is already being factored into the current structure. I'm buying when I can buy that 1Ghz T-bird for $120.00.


Essentially, I don't know. :)

The prices are very 'compressed' right now, so I wouldn't expect to see a great amount slashed.

Lowest for a 1 ghz 266 FSB chip is $121 at pricewatch, so that day should come very soon :)

alrighty!! the prices are down! hopefully it'll stay down for the 1.33 unlike the last price drop where it went down for a few days then went back up to 220!

i'll wait a few days and see what happens! but that 1.33 looks really good right about now!
