Just what the subject asks.
You can see what I'm running from my sig. Along with a 431w Enermax that's not mentioned.

I'm looking to just change my board and cpu with an Abit KT7A Raid, w\ T-Bird 1200 (266fsb).

Will there be a noticible difference without changing any other hardware? I know Thats a 200mhz jump just by running the chip at default (which would never happen! hehehe!) But I just wanted to know as far as leaving the rest of my hardware the same if it would be worth the upgrade?
Mainly looking for someone with a V5 going from around a 1000mhz cpu to an AMD 1.2gig or so.

And dont worry, I'm not stupid enough to put my 85w tec on that chip! Just the watercooling!

Went from P3-600E to T-Bird 1.33. Actually, I still kept that P3-600 and built a second machine. I see a huge difference although my new machine now has GeForce3 versus Voodoo5 still in my P3-600.

You should try putting your V5 in the 1.2 gig rig. Ya know they say the faster the cpu the better it performs. When I went from my PIII 600 to my PIII 800, It was a night and day difference on the performance of my V5. Thats why I'm interested to see how it woud perform with a 1.2 gig.

3DFX may be dead but I still love my V5!

Went from PII700@980@140FSB to TBird 1.1@1.35@156MHz . I liked it so much that I purchased an AXIA processor as a foundation for my current rigg. Most notably SETI times dropped from 6:20 to 4:20 per unit, and the system just feels faaaasssst...

Man I want it so bad now! I just have to find someone to buy this BE6-II and PIII 800 off of me now. I think I'll have a good chance at getting over 1.5gig with that cpu and board with watercooling.

went from a BF6/700E @ 1050 to an A7V133/1gig @ 1575 (water cooled) w/ a V5500 and yes there is a difference - it is fast fast fast.

you have the advantage of having water cooling so i would do it, water cooling was made for t-birds - they run sooo friggin hot, especially when you feed em 2.05v - yeeesh. i had the fan on my gorb crap out for at least a day on my 700E with it a 933 and it barely hiccupped.
