You know you could just cut a hole in the back of teh motherboard tray.
Not many people use them (at least not here) but I don't really hear many bad thnks. One things is that that might not fit all block you get in the future.

I've never used it, but I've always admired the workmanship that is in that block =p. It definitely *looks* sturdy enough. If I absolutely had to use a motherboard with no mounting holes in it, I would probably try and make that contraption work.

This is deffinatly one of the better looking ones, I have seen ones that just didn't look strong enough, if you need to use it I would get this one (rather than some other one unless its better).
Good mod - to put something between mobo & case - like plastic and rubber next to mobo, 4 holes in case just to fit screws and U can easily connect any even very heavy block.
That will be probably solution which I'll use as my block will be around 700-800g

I have used it (and still have one I don't use...hint hint *cough* *sale* *cough*) ;) . It did a good job of holding my maze3 on untill I switched to the hole monting. I didn't move my case around much except for usuall upgrade type moving around but I never had a problem with it. It took me about 3 times to get the block seated properly with it but once I got it on it was fine.
