I regularly get the a problem that the system will not post. I'm sure its because the sytem initaly sets the Vcore to the CPU default and therefore will not boot. After reading sever article and reading a few other posts on this board. I colsed all the Bridges in the L7 line on the CPU. This should change the default voltage of the CPU to 1.85

However this has not fixed the problem, the mobo still thinks the CPU's default voltage is 1.6, I know this because when I set it to default it says 1.6v in both the ser frequency and voltage section of the bios and the PC health status area.

Any one got and Ideas, should this procedure work?

Yo!... i'm currently using mobo KT7 Pro 2-A ... and i unlock those L 7 briges...by using pencil trick.. (before i unlock my deafult is 1.61 and after ...was 1.91 ) what do u think??
I need to clear my cmos then only i can enter to the CMOS... in fact..i hav to manually set the Vcore to get correct voltage..
I dont hav any problem with it..

Yeah ok, I set the default voltage to 1.8, but the mobo compensation set the acctual voltage to 1.87. This seem to be to high for the CPU and the system will not boot. Should the CPU be able to handle this voltage?
