Today I installed a Thermoengine V60-4210 solid core with a YS-tech 60mm 27.5 cfm fan idle temp is 35C and 42C under load system temp is 22C/73 deg. ambient is 70 deg. with my fop32 with the YS-tech fan I could not run at 1500mhz stable. I think I can get it even cooler with a Delta black label. I've run the burn in wizard for the last 2 hrs. and played Rat bag sprint car racing and all seems well. Boy I love these AMD chips!

See if you can get your hands on one of those ThermoEngine ultra fans. They are a Delta 60x42mm 38cfm. Not the infamous screamer, but a newer design. I'd like to hear a first hand report on one of them. Several resellers are carrying them, but I can't find anyone selling just the fan, nor can I find information on it at the Delat Web site.

Hoot, Bart at 3dfxcool is waiting for some but he's rating them at 34cfm, He's going to send me one to try out as soon as he gets them. I'll let you know how it works out as soon as I get it.

That's great Randy. I sent an email to the Sales Department at Delta asking why the new fan is not mentioned on their Web site and also trying to mooch one for testing. That's never worked so far for me, but emails are cheap. ;D

good job. possibly installing a 42-50cfm 80mm fan instead ogf the 60mm fan may bring even better results at lower noise level.

Yomama, I was looking at a 60mm to 80mm adapter to try the high output panaflo on it , might be a hell of a combo. The one I was looking at was a little spendy though around 35 bucks at plycon computers. Has anyone seen them any cheaper? If so where? Thanks,
Randy
