Here's the deal. I run at 10x133 fine and 10x140 fine also. I have generic memory in now but I have a stick of 256meg CAS2 PC133 crucial memory on the way from crucial.com. My L1's are connected with conductive ink and I do have watercooling so heat is NOT the problem on my CPU or chipset. I have a 350W Enermax PSU and thinking to go up a notch to 431W Enermax soon. But, when I go into my BIOS I set my multiplier to 10.5 and I will lock up RIGHT AFTER WinME loads up. I change my K7 CTL_CLK from default to optimal in my BIOS then set it to 10.5 and I am ok in WinME after boot. Now here's the puzzler though. Last night I did this and ran 3DMark2000 and it ran fine. Then I went into IE and was checking out this board and my system seemed to slow down to a lockup. I rebooted and my system wouldn't go past post. It posted but froze on the memory check screen. I turned off my system and about 30 seconds later it started itself back up by itself. No kidding. I then let it boot into WinMe again and I had registry errors out the ass so I powered down again and it started itself up by itself once again. I flipped the switch on my PSU and all was well for about 5 minutes. I turned it back on, pressed power, and booted off floppy to run scanreg and fixed windows. I am back to 10x133 now but have never seen this before. Can ANYONE give me insight on what this could be? I am leaning towards the PSU and I got memory on the way to check that out. And why the hell would it boot all by itself??
I don't have a clue, but it sure sounds creepy. Makes one want to get some kind of firewall program. I would clear the cmos and re-enter my parameters, just to be safe. Then I would run wither McAffee or Norton virus scan. It could be just a fluke, but seems a little too coincidental.

I know that exact problem, with windows shutting down and restarting, however I dont know what causes it, however when stripping down WinME with WinME Lite ( http://www.98lite.net ) something changed, and the problem stopped. I do however now get WinMe appear to shut down correctly but not turn off my PC, which I believe is the last effects of what is happening to you.. it appears whatever makes it restart I have removed, but thats as much as I know.. I had a post on this subject which might be of use to you... If you discover what causes and a cure let me know :)

My LAN card is linksys with the WakeOnLAN totally disabled, so there is no way that anyone from the outside could get in if the system wasn't on.
