I have a duron 700 with the code "AKCA" is this a good overclocking Duron? so far i've ran it at 126/126 = 881 Mhz and it seems to run fine (I would go higher but im using 1 Pc-100 stick and a Pc-133 but when I get my DDR next week i'll take it alot higher)
The akca is a newer core than my duron 600 but I'm not sure it will go as high. Mine is an AKBA 600@1102 2.11v aircooled. So far the AKBA cores seem to overclock the best. I would like to see a list of core codes and the max speed they can hit so we can figure out this puzzel.

Hey, that sounds good! I've got a AKBA too! It's currently @978MHz, but that's just because I've got a bad HSF, I'm gonna get the WBK38, then I will hopefully get over the gig.
U asked for a list of Duron codes, well here it is: http://www.xbitlabs.com/cpu/duron-oc.html
I hope that was what u was looking for.

You have to remove the HSF and it is printed on top of the CPU core. Clean the HSF base and core, and re-apply thermal grease them before you put it back on.
My Duron 600 is an AKBA, almost a year old now. It's a great performer.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO POST ON THIS TOPIC!
my 800 AKCA0109, week 9 of 2001, Oced up to 8x133=1066mhz but not very stable so I back off with 7.5x137=1028mhz and am very very happy with the later set up.
