Hello Hippo, How things in the land of the midnight sun?
You should have no problem w/ that V core. I have seen people pushing 1.95 +. I think it might be the HSF that is causing the high temps. Consider a better HSF, I am not familiar w/ the Silent System HSF. Are you using any thermal paste? LOL

Quite high temps... Default voltage for a tbird is 1.75, but every monitoring program + the bios PC Health menu shows it as 1.81 or 1.82.

Are you running the tbird at stock speed?
You REALLY need better cooling and some Arctic Silver (2).

Try dropping your Vcore. I'm running mine at 1.50 completely stable. Try running yours below stock, and see if it likes it. If not, time for a better HSF.

The best HSF can be rendered useless by a lack of proper case ventilation.

In addition to dropping your Vcore, you may want to look into doing a complete cooling solution evaluation and adding some cooling in areas other than just the CPU's HSF. (I would :) )

Thermal paste? I have no idea, I bought it as it is, they put it together.
I told him that I want an O/C:able MOBO and a quiet HSF for now.
I will O/C later.
HSF is 1G approved but no more(22dBA).
Will get an louder one later.
