i had it at 220fsb no problems at all with sound
im now at 225fsb and i get jumps in my music when i type ive also put a heatsink and fan on my south brigde heres a pic off what heatsink and fan im using its about 30mm*30mm not as big as it looks :)

then back off the OC?
or lock the PCI?

right its at 222fsb now and its fine i think im gonna leave it like this unless anyone can help me with the 225fsb problem

Youu just need to cool down your southbridge. Try putting a little heatsink on it.
Edit: Oops. I didn't read your whole post. You've already got one. :(
where actually is the southbridge located?

near the AGP slot :)
does the southbridge get really hot when you oc to 225? if the cooler keeps the thing just warm, i don't think thats the problem

its fine now at 227 fsb just cant go over that i think its the NB now but im ok with 227fsb i think the tape stuff used to put it on the SB has settled now :)
