So, What Chipsets Are Going To Support 939-Pinned Athlon FX's?

Well see now thats the thing; The nForce 3 only allows Dual Channel RAM with registered DIMM's, while the 939 pinned FX's support non-registered Dual Channel operation, :)
 
Its the 940 pin A64FX that has the requirement, the NF3 is just a southbridge ;). I'm sure that both Via and Nvidia will jump on the 939 bandwagon, there's no reason not to, with the big performance and cheaper cost for boards.
 
we'll yea but nvidia or VIA will do a slight revisiion.. then add a word to the end of the chipset like pro/FX/or some other lame gimmick and boom you have a socket 939 chipset ;p hehe
