How hot undere load?

I am running a 1.2 gig athlon (avia stepping) at 1.33gig. when the system starts the cpu temp is around 42 Celcius, but cools to about 26C in about 15 seconds. Case temps are between 20C-23C.
Running Seti, the temps level at about 44C, and running several other apps simultaneously w/ seti they hit 50C. I have a Vantec cooler with an extra 80mm fan mounted about 2" above it with the exhaust fan 2" away. Are these temps acceptable, or should I stick a 120mm fan with a shroud over my cpu?

Since you are usually not running that many things at the same time, I wouldn't worry about the temp hitting 50 degrees Celcius on ocassion. Your CPU will still last a long time under your conditions :)
