socket 939?

ive seen the a64 fx for socket940 and a64 and with socket754 but no socket 939 chips are out and it seems very strange for amd to release another form factor, was the whole socket 939 thing misinturprited by the media or is there another family of 64 bit cpus coming out?

Socket 939 is due out in 2004.
