n00b questions

ok i just got this new 750 duron and it was working fine for awhile. but now most of my programs dont seem to want to work. IE and AIM work fine but the bigger stuff like Tribes 2 always lock up my computer. as i am sitting here writing this my CPU is 42c is that too hot? is the cpu too hot to be running any big programs. right now its overclocked @825, but even at 750 my programs dont work. anyone care to help?

You need to tell more about your system I also had problems with Tribes2 until i got a new vid card and did a couple of tweaks
