Was running my i/o voltage at 3.4 and was only getting 1350. Started screwing around with it and changed to 3.6 and now am running stable at 1460. Not sure if this setting is safe or not. Just need a little advise. Oh yeah at 3.4 I had core voltage @ 1.8 and now I have it at 1.85. I tried 1.85 with 3.4 i/o voltage and couldn't break 1400.

3.6v is still within the specs, as it allows for a 10% deviation. I had to up my Vio to 3.7v to keep it stable. It used to be fine at 3.6v.
I also ran it at 3.9v for couple of weeks, no problem. The DIMMs just got pretty warm.

the i/o is the voltage of the cards and memory basically, so 3.6 as said above is within the 10% limit , so there should be no problem. U can still go up a bit, but the risk of frying something is increased. Also stability won't increase that much i think.

I/O does affect CPU. All modern chips are split plane - i.e they run at two voltages at the same time.

The increase in i/o will result in better chip clockability therefore. If this was just a memory issue it could be that the extra i/o was needed to get the memory up that bit further

3.7v is usually okay as a safe top limit for good dimms. Dire memory should not be taken too far. It dies.
