I am considering getting a 1GHz Thunderbird soon.

But I have an old A7V MB, and intend to use this new cpu on this KT133 MB.

Is it possible to run the 266fsb 'C' Athlon as 10x100MHz to get it at 1GHz? This is because I know the A7V is not able to run at more than 110fsb.

I was thinking that getting a 266fsb Athlon could be a good investment, especially if I do upgrade the MB in the future. It could also garantee that I would get an 'AXIA' cpu.

Any suggestions?

it should that chip is just a 200bus chip that is alreadu unlocked-it should run at 10x100 if ya got a board that dont support 133/266- or you could get a 200bus chip cor cheaper than the 133/266 and that way youd be sure it would work-and there is NO difference in overclocking ability
