I upgraded the bios of my motherboard to the newest one and I am having a problem. With the old one when I overclocked at 145 it would show a different cpu than what I have. But with the new bios I set the fsb to 145 and it shows athlon xp 1800+ in every program. So is my overclock working or not?

I am getting the same thing. Its not actually a problem, just the programs you are running are seeing the processors stock speed. For example, In Central Brain Identifier my cpu shows up as :

Athlon XP(tm) 3000+

However, I have it overclocked to 2.4ghz.

Good to see ya 'round and about.
