I have been checking people's computer stats to see if anyone has gotten good quality PC-133 SDRAM to go over 133mhz FSB. I can't seem to locate anybody or the stats are vauge. Anybody out there reached these numbers with this RAM? I am soooo close to 1.5ghz, I can feel it!! Any help would be cool!! Thanks guys.
not sure what you mean, but yeah, loads of people have ram at well over 133mhz.. i've some generic pc100 that runs at 143mhz cas2(!!!) and some crucial pc133 cas2 that runs a the same speed. loads of people have 145mhz and higher.

Well as we all know the last offical standard was PC133 SDRAM which runs at 133mhz however I have Crucial Cas 2 PC133 which will run happily at 140 mhz, however some people have got higher with this make. There are also companys pre-testing the RAM and saying they are of PC150 standards 150 mhz although not an offical standard.. The highest SDRAM I am aware of is PC180 (180mhz)
It is worth remembering however a higher speed FSB runs all your components faster and it may be these that hold you back rather than the memory as in my case

I run my SDRAM and FSB synchronously at 150Mhz. I am using KingMax Tiny BGA. I have two precious sticks of SDRAM that will run slightly in excess of 160Mhz at CL2, 4way interleave, etc.
My results with Crucial are that I can run their PC133 CL2 pt. no. CT16M64S4D7E at 150Mhz. with the above conditions. People have told me that they are getting much better results, but that has not been my experience.
There have reviews on this very site regarding SDRAM's overclockability(a new one for Noah Webster), as well as at other review sites.
Cheers,

Well I just tried to run at 10x135 and Windows just freaked out, My BIOS reconized my CPU as an 810mhz. I guess I just have to settle for 1.46ghz. Damn shoestring budget. Maybe with some better stuff in my box, I will see 1.5ghz, thanks for the info guys.
I have six 128meg sticks of Mushkin Rev3 and have tested every one of them to 160mhz cas2 on a Asus CUSL2-C. None of my Athalon boards will make it quite as high, via chipset limitation anything over 150mhz gets unstable.
Crusial makes great ram that does well at higher fsb settings and the price isn't bad either. There are also starting to be many other brands of memory rated for high fsb's.

You have MSI "Blues" Do the following;
set the multiplier and vcore - F10 to save - save - cut the power via your case switch - re-power and you should see the correct speed. If not kill the power again.

I got my 256 mb PC100 SDRAM up to 137 mhz, and could go higher if it wasn't for my pci bus (2 128mb sticks; different companies)
