Whenever I OC my processor it will run just fine for a while with good temps around 42 - 43 C while web surfing. But then after a while it will just start going up even though I don't do anything different. It will get up to like 48 or 49 and become unstable. Does this happen to anyone else?

yup.....
All is fine then the slow temp creep up.
For me, I noticed that it was my 5 V supply have a hard time at elevated cloocking(using MBM5 for monitoring). I watched the 5 V drop and the temp go up. About 2 C up per .02 V down on the 5V :-(
I stable at 1.417 and so so above 1.5 (until I get a new power supply :) )
1 GHz TB at 1.417 Vc=1.7 V Temp 44C full load and 5V at 4.73. MSI K7T Turbo R, Swiftech462-A

you might need a higher watt PS because if it is pulling too much then it has to work harder to get the power and therefore heat is created-same as blowing a subwoofer by not putting enough watts to it-has to work too hard and boom no subwoofer0-just an analogy

So you're saying I need a new powersupply? I have a 300W GreenTech.

I think it's more in terms that your PSU may not be to spec....

Is there a way to get my PSU to spec without getting a new one?
