I went to this website

http://www.chipmusic.nu/download/dvdhack-lo.htm

and it was able to display my C:\ drive folders. I've seen this before over the years and now, since I'm using a router with filters of certain key ports, and I usually pass a stealth check, I was wondering if this means I am in any genuine danger, exposed, so to speak...

Is this a genuine access of my drive or a trick?

If a danger, what port should I close?

edit: couldn't get back to the site, it appears to be down. Hope someone understands what I mean.

thanks b.

it's just a trick. they are using localhost which will just pop up the contents of your hard drive. it's one way they trick people into getting their spyware onto your computer... same idea as i use on my old msfs webpage <http://www.mbentley.net/main/msfs/> but they use the generic shortcut name to see your c: drive...
