View Full Version : Radiator fan mounting problem.

I cannot believe it. I have my radiator, fans and bolts ready for fitting. And guess what happens, the damn flat tubes inside the core are spaced incorrectly for me to mount my fans. I can get two bolts through the radiator core on the one side, but then the other two holes aline over one of the tubes. Damn again. How am I going to fit my fans to my radiator now?

PS: The core is 120mm x 120mm.

You could use wire or nylon zip ties instead of bolts.
You should think about using a shroud to space the fan away from the radiator a tad bit too, at least 3/4" of airspace between the fan and the radiator surface really improves the cooling ability of the radiator.
