Just building a new machine to be a dedicated folder and maybe firewall.
At the moment it consists of: Power supply, mobo, cpu and memory, there is nothing else hoked up yet?
But basicly it will not boot, it turns on for 4 secs and then turns off. Dosent post or nothing?
Anyone with any ideas?

amd or intel? any POST?
if it's intel, make sure you plug in the 2x2 molex for the extra power...
even some amd boards need it now...

Thats one thing I thought of, I have reseated the HS twice now, using AS3
Thanks for all your feedback, but something I should metion is this machine has no case so that means it has no power switch. To make one I got an old case and chopped the end that goes on to the mob off and tied the two ends together to create a circut?
If that makes scense?
Dont know if that would affect it atal?

Thanx for all your help, but I have fixed it (Well my friend did :D )
It was my dodgy switch, I was creating the circut and leaving the circut connected which replicated me holding the power button in, hence the reason it turns of after 4 secs. Or 5 if you time it correct.
Thanks for your help again. :D

On most PC's anymore, you hold the power button for 4-5 secs to turn it off. The power buttons are momentary switches, in other words, designed to be pressed and released.
I would bet that by shorting the wires like that, the mobo is interpreting it as a signal to shutdown the computer. Just touch the wires for a sec to turn it on and it should work
Sorry, didn't see the above post for some reason.
