hi. for some reason my start menu -> all programs in xp pro doesn't do the thing where it shows some programs, then you hit the arrows and it expands the menu, etc. How do I fix it?

Right-Click on the taskbar. Go to the start menu tab, customized, then the advanced tab. Scroll down the options and find the option for scroll programs, enable that. Good Luck!!

thanks, but that's not what i was really looking for. i want it to be where you click on all programs, then it shows some programs, then when you hit the button that looks like two arrows pointing down that are on top of each other, it'll show the rest of the programs.

I think you need to turn off "Use Personalized Menus".

Do you want that feature on or off?

Your right click on taskbar, proporties, start mean, classic (you cant do it with the normal one for some stupid reason :/, has to be classic), Customize, then check Personalized menus. It may take a couple of days before it will start to do it but taht is all just hit ok, ok, and you are done.

axegrinderbill,

if you want to have a menu above "programs", easiest way to do is RE-INSTALL microsoft office. It will create a short cut above "programs". From there, you can add more thing if you want.

if this is something you want :)
