I am able to get the FSB up to 107 on my duron 750 which brings it up to 803mhz but i want more say about 963mhz (107*9), is it likely to go that high. I have not unlocked it yet and i am thinking of using the pencill trick to close the L1's ,by the way what happens when the pencill ware's off, does it destory the CPU or is it a case of just redoing them. I would be gratefull for anyother tips.

P.S my current CPU Fan and Heatsink (CH5-5K12) keeps the temp at 40*C full load, will this fan and heatsink also do for the over, (I paid £25 so i hope so)

Depending on the lead, sometimes the pencil trick will last quite a while. If itcraps out, you just erase the old and start all over. However, to save the aggravation, you might want to consider a Conductive pen instead of the pencil. Of course, if you have a retail CPU, and are worried about warranty concerns, the pencil is the way to go.

If the pencil trick fails the multiplier just reverts back to factory - now if you lowered your multiplier and raised your FSB, this might cause problems - if you raised it, you just run back to the lower speed. A simple clear of your CMOS should reset it though, unless you're doing something REALLY insane.
