help w/ audigy2

I just hooked up my oem audigy 2 and mp3/music playback sounds horrible. Also, in some 3d/eax games I hear slight popping and hissing. I used the drivers off of the CD, is there better drivers, or is there something else I need to change to get better sound quality. I thought an Audigy was supposed to be one of the best sound solutions, but so far its not sounding so great...

download the most recent drives from thier website, and i heard this crazy thing about the audigys liking the first pci slot... try that, and if its already in the first slot, try moving it around.

Your qualiy setting in Windows' sound contlol panel might be down. This happened on my dad's computer with SB 64 pci (crap).
