WTF? Come on fellas, I need to be able to read this stuff without thinking! Please!

Anyways, yes. Gamespy also says that the Gamecube is lowering to $99. It seems Nintendo is looking for some market-share with MS and Sony.

i want to get it for the Resident Evil 1 and 0 and a ive always been a real big fan of Zelda. id start watching preowened game cubes at the likes of ebgames.com, they cant expect to sell preowned systems for more than new ones :).

If I could pick up a used GC with Metroid for about $100 I would have to succomb to the big N probably.

That is good thinking whooping a panda.. I'll have to check on a used GC.

They are doing this (lowering prices) to bring in more customers because the gamecube is loosing the console war to M$ and Sony

i dont think xbox will lower its price for a long time simply because microsoft is losing money everytime someone buys one

Windwaker rocks, but Zelda:Master Quest is the awesome. For $99, the Gamecube is worth it.

I might buy one now, The grafics are just as good as x box and the system is not as big. The controler is a little hard to get used to, but once you get used to it, it is really nice. Pluss the controller isnt freeking huge. I know they have smaller controllers for box, but the original box controlers are almost as big as a dreamcast.

If you want a Cube for less that $100 I suggest you wait 1 more week. KB Toys is going to have a 30% off sale on every item in the store as part of a class action settlement. That means a Cube will cost $70. Now that is hot deal.

I bought my gamecube in mid august for $150, and I'd gladly do it again (if I had too). I paid $150 plus tax -10% employee discount +Free Game: Metroid Prime (was a choice of Metroid Prime (which is now $29.99), Zelda, Starfox (which is now $19.99) and Mario Party 4.) I chose Metroid Prime, because at work (Target) we had a Target Exclusive Package which was Metroid Prime and a 251 block memory card using Metroid Primes UPC (short: free mem card with the free game). Oh, and a $50 Target Gift Card, lol. This all happened near the end of August/early September. I did have to "return" my system to get both deals, but was definatly worth the time (as I'm there 40hours a week, lol).

Anyway, I can't complain about the controllers, I love them. Takes a few hours to get used to, but they're amazing :)

If you had any reservations about getting a Cube, don't worry about it :) Get one, you'll love it.

Yes the reason they are all being lowered in price is cos Nintendo has annouced that they will no longer be producing the gamecube and that it is to go the way of the dinosaurs. There Future is alittle uncertain as they are unsure whether to keep in the console industry or make a move like that Saga did and move into the software industry providing titles for all consoles.
