Jedi Academy Lightsaber Cheat

Just wondering if anyone know's a code for Jedi Academy that would enable a "Realistic Saber Combat" like in Jedi Outcast. I'm hoping they didn't remove an option like this, because I'm sick of some staff-saber wielding puke taking almost 10 saber hits from me. Oh and if an Imperial Officer can take up to 3 saber hits, I want whatever he's smokin'!

But then again, I didn't make the game...So I have no right to whine...anyways how about a command line option or something?

This is a very extensive list of cheats for JKA. It has one to enable all of th eSaber enhancements. Hit "~" & "Shift" at the saem time to drop the console. Type in "devmapall" then "enter" then type in desired cheat and hit "enter" to enable the cheat.

Be forewarned.....I think if you enable realistic combat, you will be very prone to dark jedi.....

er, I dunno, lol. You might be, you might not.

But, the easiest way is to change it to padawan difficulty, lol.

anyway, i think i'll beat the game before I try and cheat....makes the game so much more fun.

g_saberRealisticCombat doesn't always work for JA like it did in JO. There is also a g_saberMoreRealistic command that's "write protected" so you can't change it. You can use cvarlist or cmdlist to pull up all the lists of in game options for JA. Try changing some of the saber movement speeds or saberlockRandomness 50 :D

On another note, neither of those lists had one of my fave saber codes:

saber dual_x (x being numbers 1-5) will give you saberstaff at any time during the game.

saber single_x single_x (x being numbers 1-8) will give you twin sabers anytime during the game.

saber single_x (x being numbers 1-8) will give you a single saber again.

The numbers represent all the different orginal hilts you can get in the game. You can choose higher numbers if you've got a hilt pack installed.

After beating the game about a dozen times now, I find it's much more fun to bind all those codes to different keys and play the game switching sabers around at will. :D

Hopefully there will be a patch to get rid of write protection on g_saberMoreRealistic, cause I really want to hack up some sandpeople. :p
