just a few questions about overclocking community things

i know there are a few programs out there where you can use your cpu when you're idle. they also help test stability right? what are they and how do i get into doing something like that?

also, what is that pi benchmark i've seen around?

Head on over to the Folding team forum and read the Folding@Home FAQ. F@H is a great project that puts unused CPU cycles to good use, helping Stanford Univ. in their research on protein folding and mutation. Its the best way to put your system to good use. Its addicitive, too!
