View Full Version : 1GHZ AXIA'Y'0110 - What (stable) settings are you using?
If you have an 1GHz AXIA 'Y' dated 0110 I would like to gather a list of what settings you are using (overclocked) so that I may work out the best solution to get my system nice and cool and stable.
I would like to draw a graph in Excel with the results and i will post it on a web site for all to see)
(Ideally I would like to know from those who have a 300w PSU and 256mb ram/Cas3)
1) Voltage core
2) Multiplyer/FSB
3) M/B and RAM
4) Cooler and CPU temp (Idle/Load)
Thanks Guys!
I have an AXIA 0110 1GHZ 266 TBIRD, and an Asus A7V133 motherboard. I lowered the core voltage to 1.6 through the jumper settings on the motherboard, doing so in the bios caused boot up problems.
I have generic cas3 ram, 1 piece of 256, and 1 piece of 128, both PC -133. My multiplier is 10 x 130. Currently I am using a Volcano2 HSF, and it runs warm. 52 idle, 58 full load. I have a thermoengine HSF, and silver paste on order that should help with that. Will try for more when they arrive.
I have that exact chip on a KT7A with PC150CAS2 memory. It can do the following:
10x133 @ 1.65V (solid P95/3DMark2001)
10x140 @ 1.75V (solid P95/3DMark2001)
10x145 @ 1.85V (solid P95/3DMark2001)
10x150 @ 1.95V (solid P95/3DMark2001)
10.5x145 @ 2.00V (solid P95/3DMark2001)
10.5x150 @ 2.05V(solid P95/ occasional lockup 3DMark2001)
All speeds 20-22C idle / 30-39C full load

1 GHz AXIA Y 0109 (?) @ 1.424
Vc=1.70 V
10.5/136
MSI K7T Turbo, 256 CAS 3
Swifttech MC462-A 38/44
5 V line at 4.73 V, this is causing increase temp. New PSU on order.
SETI at 5.6hrs
Hope this helps :)
....and Hoot has a wicked cooling system....

I have that exact chip also, and I can't really give you any info yet, because the power supply I'm using right now makes my system lock up after being on for more than a few hours. The 5V just keeps going down and down.
