Im looking for a PVR software that will work with my leadtek winfast tv2000 deluxe and whatever chipsets on this, anyone know. The main thing i want this pvr to do is deinterlace because its horrible to watch these highly interlaced things on tv

Someone gave me this link (http://www.dscaler.com/) to dscaler. It improved image quality on my leadtek winfast card, but you can't record. It also puts a big load on your cpu.

COOL! this works wonderfully. I will just record in winfast and run it through Virtual Dub's Deinterlace filter

Bump, I need to know what tuner is on the winfast tv2000 xp.
It uses the bt878 chip which is 8-bit.
I just ordered an Asus tv card that uses the new 10bit philips chip.
www.snapstream.com isn't too bad for recording. You can set recording from anywhere thru the internet as long as your computer is on. It's $65 ($75 if you want a cd) and they have a free 21 day trial.
www.tv-cards.com is a good site to read up on this stuff.
