I am really serious about getting a 1.33ghz TBIRD, and a KK266. The only problem is, i only have 230 dollars. I know i will have enough for one, but not the other. I will definetly buy the kk266 first, then maybe i will get a 1ghz AXIA. I will be very happy with 1.5ghz. Thanx alot.
Right now I would still go with an Asus A7V133 since ddr platforms are just not mature yet. Heck I got an A7V133 up to 164 fsb and ram at 222 timing so why bother with ddr. The Asus A7M is the only ddr board I would consider purchasing but it is very expensive. Newegg.com and TCWO.com should both have AXIA chips very cheep.
Get a 1.0G/266 AXIA or later Tbird. Mine does 1333 at the default voltage of 1.75, 1450 at 1.85, 1500 at 1.95. Any of those speeds work fine with just modest cooling. The 1.0, 1.2 and 1.3/1.33 are all the same core!

Hm and I should reccomend you to go with ABit KT7A.
Same specs, but without ddr and that's why a lot cheaper. But on the other side, on todays platforms DDR doesn't give you anything but HDD perfomance boost to 1/3 over non-DDR boards. (Its from the magazine <Submarine> test)
