need to build a notebook need help

Has anyone built a notebook??? any info or links on where to get parts and how-to's would be helpfull I want to stay with AMD. Thanks in advance.

i will say good luck with that as i have never heard of anyone doing so.
If you do find out let us know. But i think you may be in for one large headache trying though

Hang in there, tweeknfreek. I know of an article that detailed a Japanese enthusiast that built a 'portable computer'. Not a laptop by any stretch, but as close as you're likely to find..he came up with some rather ingenious solutions to qiute vexing engineering issues. I'll see if I can find the article later today.

thanx for the link but not exactly what I need but it is a very cool project. Oh well looks like i'm stuck with oem!! if you have any sugg as to which brand might be best I would appreciate it! Thanks again for your help:):):)
