Just browsing through the stats during my morning tea, I finally get to see Badvector on my graph.

The race is on, Badvector versus Flixotide. Goal is 45K

According to my current calculations, it will be down to the very last point before crossing 45K.

I know I'm in for a tough race, and I probably wont make it... but I'll do all I can..

Gather around folks, watch Bad dog Badvector versus Flixit Flixotide race it out...

Hey Flix,

You done adding rigs yet? You could have at least given me an estimate before you baited me in to this.;)

I've been watching your processor count grow like jack's beanstalk. Looks like I've got about two weeks to get more rigs built and folding just to keep you from catching me before 45k. If you don't hear from me for a few days, it's because I'm constantly refreshing the newegg refurb screen waiting to pounce on some folding candy.:p

I think I finally have my XP1600 stable, but I'll know for sure when I get home. I think my trusty old 8KHA+ is finally starting to give up the ghost. I hoped to have had it running over the weekend, but wasn't too successful.

You may have the edge right now, but I refuse to give in to your folding prowess yet. The race is starting to heat up.

I've actually only added 2 laptops... the reason why you'll see some sporadic growth on my processor count, is that my parents have 4 machines at home (1 duron, 2 cellies, an xp1800), each running the old winfah running Genomes.

Ocasionally when used for browsing or internet phoning, they may just drop in a single WU every week. My main power still comes from A few P4 1.6's, an XP2100, a 1 gig celly, and now 2 laptops....

I've kept my XP running more aggressively lately to stabilize points, and added the celly laptop 24/7 as well.

I look forward to this being over, cuz those laptop fans are killing my ears at home.

If I remember correctly, I said something to the effect of "a man doesn't go looking for a gunfight without guns" and you gave me the "I don't pack much sadly boo hoo hoo routine":)

That's ok though. I'm up for the challenge, and I promise, no smack talking to you. There may be some smack coming up, but not directed your way. Keep that ace handy though.

AFAIK, you are worth much more than your current output. At some point I believe seeing you close to 4K, back when you raced past me.... so don't worry. I expect you to do much better than your current.

I'm still waiting for my true challenger to awaken from his slumber. Somewhere down low a young challenger McTimson awaits his chance at fame and fortune... You're just an exercise :p

Well flix, newegg refurbs were pretty good tonight. If I'm lucky, I might get another box up by next week. Just need to order a proc and pick up some memory. Need to pick up some more points to change that threatlist date.

I never discard units

In fact, it drives me crazy when I see people talking about deleting tinkers to get gromacs. If stanford needs that protein folded, by golly I'll fold whatever it is. Although it's fun to watch the charts, it's about finding a cure. That protein that gets deleted could be the one that would have made a difference. I even went through a rush of Genomes awhile back. Although the 50+ pointers are great on most of my rigs, they're killing my Celeron rigs.

I also live by Flix's code of folding ethics. I would not borg a rig without the owners consent and willingness to participate.

Just trying to bump my clocks a little bit higher. Every second counts with the likes of Flashmaster Flix on my tail. :p

Orange is a nice color for you. Not as flattering as your lovely green skin, but still nice. Looks like I'm gonna have to pick it up a bit and shed this yellow for some orange as well. :p

Strange how yours has gone from 8 to 14 :p And I'm quite certain they aren't 300 mhz p2's taking your production into account.....

Keep pumping those WU's Flix. I don't know how long I can keep some of these boxes as I'm probably going to lose at least 2-3 to sales. I just hope I can keep em going until I hit 45k. It may hurt my points, but it helps the pocketbook. C'mon buddy, double that production. I wanna see you in red. This is where I got my last boost. Built about 4 rigs and sold em all within 2 weeks. I am considering offering customer discounts if they keep the rig folding though.

I can't double diddly here.. I have 7x1.6 P4's running 24x7, 4 of them will be going off within this month, the remaining 3 will stay online.

I need to duct mod my home XP to keep it cool, so right now its only 12x7, and my home celly 1.0 isn't much even though its 24x7....

So I'm in a snag at the moment. However, I do have 6 mails out to some 3D / CAD people with some very heavy firepower, but it may take some time for em folding... they are very sensitive about their rigs.

At your current rate, you'll be putting out about 1000 ppd. You've already hit your production from yesterday. Either you're telling BIG stories or someones adding boxes for you.

Apparently its the latter, as I have no clue as to where those last 3 boxes are from....

Wow, you're up to 16 now. Looks like your cad people came through. Well, I'm pretty much at my limit (in fact I lost a couple somewhere as I should have about 13). With your current production, you should be at 45k in about 10 days. It will take me about 3 weeks to see that so keep it up and great job.

Good to hear from you again buddy. Actually my 2.4c was down for about 6 hours this weekend. :p I'll be adding an XP2400 as soon as it arrives from stoopid(gotta keep planting seeds if you want the farm to grow). I think I lost a couple of rigs over the weekend. Looks like one might be back up but the other is still MIA. My cele 433 is pretty much down for the count. It picked up a 70 point tinker that should be done in about 2 weeks. Keep that power coming.
