alright guys, tell me about the SLOT A T-Bird

couple questions for yall.

is the slot a tbird just a normal tbird but mounted on a classic-like pcb?
how do i overclock one. do i just connect the L1's like a normal tbird or do i need a gfd like a classic athlon?

It is and it isn't. The Slot A T-Bird is a normal T-Bird with on die cash but you still need a Goldfinger device. Most kx chipset motherboards support the Slot T-Bird with a simple Bios update. If you have an older motherboard this would be a great way to upgrade for not a lot of money. Slot A T-Birds are a bargain at $50 for a 750. If you are brave and know how to solder smd resistors you don't even need a Goldfinger.
