How comes....?

How comes the GeForce4 Ti4200, is better than the GeForce FX5200, it doesn't make any sense, I'm pretty sure that the FX5200 came out after that graphics and has better stuff!

Can anyone explain this to me?

Its not "when" it came out, its what features it has and what clocks. A shining example would be the MX440. It came out well after the Geforce3, yet its slower than all of them.
