View Full Version : Any UV Light/Paint Deals?
I am currently trying to find an actual UV light for my case. (not the cold cathode ones, but the actual black ones, since they don't put out as much *light* so all UV active objects inside the case show up better.) I am also trying to find a UV reactive paint kit with around 3-5 colors in it for a fair price. Every place i've seen charges 10 bucks for just ONE color :P
Lemme know, I guess. :)
well obviously no one knows

Theres no response because UV isn't cheap, especially UV spraypaint. Your best bet is to do a Google search and look for a Party favors store that sells UV paint cheap. As far as Black lights that aren't Cold Cathode, walmart, Target and most larger auto supply stores have them.
hmm, i'll look around locally, but i doubt there's anything.
thanks anyway sam for at least repyling to my post.
much apprecated. for real.

Hey guys...Someone in the Tips and Techniques section of overclockers posted how he made his motherboard glow with UV paint and gave a site where to buy a can of it....It's like 12 bucks......I dont know what u r willing to pay...And about the blacklight UV light...I got one online...It took me awhile to find one that was UV and not a cold cathode light....Go to www.xpcgear.com and you'll find a UV light for like 7 or so...But shipping is expensive as the light so it will be like 15 shipped.....And a quick question for everybody else.....Can I use the can of UV spray to spray my keyboard?? Will it light up my keyboard when I turn the UV light on and still look the perfect when their is no light on..Or will it ruin my keyboard or have lie a weird feeling to the keys if i put it on..Thanks guys...

it should work as long as the initial state of the paint is clear, then glows under UV, might add a strange texture, maybe make the keys feel smooth or something, I dunno.

No problem bro....Is that what you were looking for?? I just got my blacklight in today...Good stuff...They give you a switch....Inverter.....And the blacklight for 15 with shipping..Good deal....
Mad Butter, that UV spraypaint is perfect! 12 bucks isn't even that bad for that stuff. I'm gonna buy red, green and blue! heh
As for the light, I dont want a UV cold cathode, I want a real UV light (the actual black ones) so there's less *light* given off and the UV paint shows up even better :)
Have you seen any non cold cathode UV lights for cases anywhere?
Wow! I found the paint even cheaper:

Hey man..Sorry...The one I got was a UV light I think but also a cold cathode light....I didn't think it was though...Maybe I'm wrong...Strictly a UV light is going to be real expensive...I'm sure you can deal with a 15 dollar UV cold cathode light...I'll keep my eye open for ya though......
yeah, i'll pay whatever it takes to get a non cathode UV light. if you come across any, please let me know :)
