I am trying my best to get to 1.5ghz, just 15 lousy mhz away. I just bumped my FSB to 135, Windows doesn't like anything above that. I have not heard much talk about OS's. Is Windows 2000 or NT any better than 98? I need those few extra mhz. This O/Cing is way to addicting!!

Try a Swiftec MC462 HSF.
Well I truley think my Vantec is doing a fine job, my question is for OS's. My system is built fine for now.
I am Having real good luck with windows ME. I have a
1 GHz AXIA Running at 1.54GHz at 1.91Vcore(140x11) as of this afternoon. Mine doesn't like 1.55 Ghz it isn't quite stable there and without a voltage mod I am at my limit. You didn't say what your temp was at load, anything above
45C seems to cause stability probs in my experience
with this chip. I couldn't get past 1.47 with my fop32
I went to the ThermoEngine with my YS-tech fan and
with the lower under load temps I have achieved a much higher O/C. I don't Know for a fact if Win Me helps in my O/C And alot of people badmouth Win ME
but I sure can't complain. Kinda an expensive gamble to see if you actually get a better O/C out of it though. I'd be more inclined to think you need a voltage mod and some more work on cooling to get any more out of your chip. That is my next step H2o and voltage mod. I too am addicted to OVERCLOCKING!
If this thing keeps going as good as it is now for a week I'll update my system specs.

Klockin fool, One more thing I just thought of after re -reading your post. Try if you haven't already changing your ram timing in BIOS to cas 3 and see if that helps keep things stable while upping the FSB. hope this helps.

Hey thanks for all the info, I can already get my voltage up to 1.97 without any mods, but it makes my temp go way up. I am going to do massive case mods this weekend, so maybe after all that I will try as higher voltage. I really don't like my v-core to read over 45c at load. I included my CPU benchmark from Sandra to compare readings. I will keep ya posted.
don't drop your ram timings.. you'll take quite a big performance hit in the memory department if you do.. dropping from cas2 to cas3 will definitely hurt more than the 15mhz increase will help.
