I got a xp-2200 with this stepping:

AXDA2200DUV3C

AIUHB0248XPBW

Tried search and found nothing. So the question is:

IS IT ANY GOOD?

It's a Thoroughbred B made in week 48 of 2002. They average 2.3 GHz. It all depends on the details of your system.

1700+ Thoroughbred B would overclock similar.

Here's how to tell if it's a B:

Post full system specs for OC expectation info.

Mobo: Asrock k7vt2
Ram: Apacer pc-2100 (2x128 MB)
cooler: Cus 2 from Sharkoon (up to XP-3200)
Vid card is old savage 4 with 32MB
and a no-name psu 300 W (3,3 V and 5V combined 165W)

It was meant to be a rig for my kids!

OK but if anything should go wrong, don't forget to blame the power supply.

Im glad you got a B core. I had a 2200 with an A core and it would only OC 74mhz. Yes I said 74mhz. LOL. Im glad I now have a DLT3C. Which has OCed well over 800mhz and climbing.

Yeah, the reason for that is because A's scale to 2200+. That's how far they go.

B's scale to 2800+. If you get a 2800+ B, 74 Mhz is about how far you could overclock a 2800+ B if you had it, and that would be an above average overclock since 2300 MHz is the average for B's. It's about 2 for A's.
