View Full Version : 1200@900 HELP
I have a problem with my new AMD 1200, 266. It's running 900 MHz ? Asus A7V133 board
I have tried to set the bios to 133 MHz but that just makes my system stop right after bios boot.
At the same time I have a problem with my ata100 drive. When I attach it to the 100 socket on the board it (w2k) says that there are no bootable drive attached ?
Please help !

I have the same problem with my MSI MB at first. I had been using PC100 Generic Memory and it did not like running at 133 when I set the jumper the 100/133 setting on 133 on the MB.
If it is a new HD then you need to make a bootable disk and fdisk the HD to set the partitions. If it is a loaded bootable(from another machine) HD then the HD jumper on the HD may set to slave or cable select instead of master or the cable is plugged in backward (pin 1 facing power?)
