Swiftech is a great company. I'm sure they will take care of you. Forget the e-mail. Pickup the phoen and call them

sorry to hear of your difficulties, and I may have to add to them a bit
no one here knows of an e-mail from Hong Kong regarding a defective pump in a kit
Swiftech does not handle warranty claims outside of the US,
and all overseas sales are made through distributors
-> you need to contact your vendor and take up the matter with them
be cool

I had an issue with a Swiftech MCW5000A Waterblock recently - and their customer support is great. They didn't give me a warranty claim - but they told me how to fix the burred out screw holes in the copper block base.
The block was destroyed in my attempt to fix it (I had to buy another - the soft copper is *really* easy to mess up...) - but the customer service was helpful and polite just the same. I'm out $35, but I am impressed with their customer dedication.
I suspect that if the pump just broke down like that you should try 2 things - first you should try taking it apart as per the instructions and give it a thourough cleaning, my Hydor L30 stopped working 10 minutes after I bought it, and I got it back up by cleaning it out carefully (bits of black paint from my Rad!!).
If that fails give them a call *through* your retailer - that is to say use your retailers phone, and have a employee of your retailer on hand to talk to them when need be (and they *will* need to talk to him/her) - but make sure *you* tell them the problem. That's what I did, and it went much smoother that way.
my friend sent the kit from US NJ to hong kong
do u think i can directly send it back to swiftech and they can send it to my friend?
there is not distrubtor here so i cant fix it
i bought a hydor L20 pump here, for US$ 17
but i just hate using the 1/2" to 3/8" convertor
watercooling is very new here
thanks for helping me
sorry, send it to your friend and let him deal with it
be cool
