4 pin evercool aluminum 120mm louder than the 3 pin version?

I have ordered two of these fans in different time periods. The second time I received one with a 4 pin connector and I swear its louder.

Am I crazy?


Also, how much CFM does it push out 7volted?

Were they both wired to the same 12+/12- connecter?How was the 3 pin wired?
