my [email protected] will definitly do more with my 8rda+,twinmos ch-5 pc3200 512mb stick, ys tek/sk-7 + 5 case fans
running 11.5x200 right now. I need cooling for my nb though and a bigger hs i think and prolly a vdd mod. What do you think. My ram is at 2.77 and vcore 1.75. they get overvolted to 2.8 and 1.78. Shouldnt i not have to up the vdimm though since im running this ram in spec? Temps when it was around 75-77f in my apt were 32c case temp and 45-47c under load cpu temp

Your chip temp is a little high. I have a slk-800 with a SF2 and have gotten it over 2.4 at lower temps than you've got now.
When my case temp is 32 my idle/load is 41/45

yea but your hs is significanly bigger along with a better fan. Also your temps arnt that much different. What voltages you running. Also how many case fans you have and which way is your hsf blwing? My case temps might be higher, i might have miscalculated

Try more vcore. Beyond 2.3ghz is never definite though. My old 2100 was an exceptional stepping and chip, but it needed around 2.1 to 2.2 volts to get to 2.4+

stepping??Mine is a 0306. What were your temps at 2.3 and I see that you went down to a 3200+

Not really a XP3200+, its a 2500+ @ 3200+, but only got it today so i'm still playing with it, i'm currently at 2.3Ghz again but now on only 1.825V but my temps are much higher with the barton...

The XP2100+ was the following stepping:

AXDA2100DUT3C
9726783280449
JIUHB0308VPMW

@ 2.4Ghz my load temps were ~ 55C, at 2.3 load was ~50C.

This barton is ~56C @ 2.3Ghz, not very impressed with that tbh... :(

NOTE - All temps are read from the die.

Well i just moved into my new pad yesterday with windows in my bedroom. Fired up my comp and prime. Its getting cold here in PA now so the room had a great chill to it. Plus the windows give ventalation

after 18 hours prime, no errors and here were the temps under load

cpu: 39c
system: 24c

I think thats awesome
