What video card can I get for under $80? I can't afford nothin over that, so don't tell me to save more (I can't). I don't care if its Nvidia, or Ati. I want a 4x, but I could go faster. I also would prefer it to be 128MB.

i'd probably have to say either a ati 8500 or nvidia 4200ti, and overclock them if at all possible... both can be had for around $80 nowadays..

ti4200 128mb will cost about $80 but those suck at overclocking, ram wise. a 64mb is cheaper and ocs much more, I speak from experience!

There are some Ti 4200's with 128mb that can clock up good, MSI makes a great card, and so does Asus for the Ti4200.
If you can still find an albatron turbo ti4200, not sure if it is cheap still. Check around.
The albatron turbo will not cost $80. It is, after all, a ti4200 mounted on a ti4600 PCB with fairly expensive BGA RAM.
But yeah, get a ti4200, preferrably a 128mb. By the way, AGP4x and AGP8x make almost no difference at all.

I have tried even the albatron ti4200 128mb and that thing did 300/525 so beware! not a turbro but come on! my abit siluro did 290/600 so maybe you should grab that one even though its 64mb. Ive seen people get it to 320/640 and they eat ti4600s!

that must be a sight to see a graphics card eat another.

If you just want a card and nothing bundled with it, wait for NewEgg to put up a GeForce4 4800 or 4200 (8X) 128MB refurb.

why the cry face on the xp1700? bad overclocker? as for your 3dmarks, you need to overclock everything. I get near 15k and will break 15k once my ram comes
ti200 is great for under 80....Im running one clocked at 275/515 w/ stock mem cooling and a crystal orb...Itll run cs at a constant 99-100fps

theres no way a ti200 core can do 275 without serious cooling, sorry. my last one did 220 core and my chaintech did 250

I'm gonna have to agree with overclocker5-hehehe. Sorry, I couldn't hold a straight face.
Then agree with him. I could careless what you people think.
Why don't you guys believe him? Overclocker550 had a Ti200 going at 250. Creepy not only had a golden sample, but some good airflow.
Glad to see someone has some sense.
