Well...found a Duron 750 for $40 bucks...couldn't resist. Can't wait to start playin w/ the AMD side of things!!!! Alright...after some careful research, I'm planning on going w/ the ABIT KT7A w/ the via 133a chipset. Should support 154FSB w/ 133 memory. I'll keep you all posted...and probably have many quesitons as I am officially an AMD Newbie!!!

Just looking for some general comments on the 750/ABIT combo and any experiences you've had w/ your Durons. I'm reading that FSB OC works better w/ the Duron models becuase of the cache limitation..any input?

Welcome to the AMD world, you wont regret it, those Durons are awesome little CPU's and the Abit KT7A is a great mobo, you won't look back. Although the KT7A-Raid may be capable of 154 mhz FSB Im not sure the Duron is, remember in its normal state it runs on a 100 mhz FSB having said that Im running my Duron 800 @ 1050 (7.5x140) on a KT7A-Raid and will gladly help all I can if you need it.

Be interesting to know how you compare the performance to you P3 as well

You'll like that Abit board. One of the best I've ever seen.
